Bushido brought a fan on stage for “Sonnenbank Flavour”. What started as a highlight ended in just under four minutes with a joke proposal.

Bushido has been on a farewell tour through Germany since mid-January. At the previous stops on his “Everything will be fine” tour, the German rapper shared his stage for performances of his hits with individual fans. During his concert in Frankfurt he asked the 25-year-old Leon onto the stage for the track “Sonnenbank Flavour”. After a remarkable performance, the nurse’s companion was also brought on stage for an alleged marriage proposal. What exactly happened.

The alleged marriage proposal was rejected

The current tour continues until March of this year and, according to the artist, represents the final chapter of his twenty-year rap career. Every evening he brings fans on stage to create moments of connection – including at his concert in the Frankfurt Festhalle. What started as a sweet moment turned out to be a set-up game between two work colleagues in just over three and a half minutes and caused confusion for the rapper and his audience.

The interaction began humorously. At the young man’s request, the 47-year-old invited a young woman onto the stage. During the greeting, the lady in a green sweatsuit made it clear to the rapper and the audience that the person present in black jeans and a black sweater was her work colleague. He then shouted fervently into his microphone: “Fuck the company”. The rapper, whose real name is Anis Mohamed Youssef Ferchichi, noted that the phrase actually means “Never fuck the company” and then gave the two of them all the attention.

Leon spoke about his past, which was “very difficult” for him; his concert companion Larissa was always there for him during this time. This apparently only left one conclusion for the young guy – a marriage proposal in front of almost 10,000 people. With the rapper’s remark: “On your knees, you idiot,” he sank down on his knee with a ring in his hand and asked the lady in green, “Do you want to be my wife?” the proposal – the audience cheered the two in support. The almost-fiancée’s answer was “No, but yes.” Confusion spread.

The application turned out to be a Trojan horse

The Bonn native’s inquiry was followed by a sobering explanation on site: The two had agreed in advance of the concert that she would bring her work colleague on stage so that he could perform the track “Sonnenbank Flavor” with Bushido – an experience that she was already able to have in 2025. The two colleagues also revealed that the difficult time was a separation between him and his ex-partner and that the ring was originally intended for her. Bushido’s comment was: “Where is RTL+ when you need it?”. And when the mood threatened to change: “Such a great performance, and then the two of them shit like that.”

The joke proposal is one of the less pleasant moments of the tour

Much of the fan interaction so far has created a good mood, praise for the artist and applause from those present. A few – in which overconfidence or nervousness led to interruptions in the text and blackouts – Bushido and the audience were disappointed – criticism and boos were the result.

After the shows, the performances as well as the reactions of the rapper and the audience are hotly discussed on social media. Some users expressed their condolences to those affected by the botched performances. Others showed incomprehension and agreed with the rapper – who, before each of these performances, asks for a fan who can rap, knows the lyrics and has the confidence to perform like that. The concert on January 20th in Cologne at the Lanxess Arena will show whether the artist will let fans on stage again after the joke request.
