A car went up in flames in a parking lot on Smetanalaan in Assen last night. There is nothing left of the vehicle.
When firefighters arrived, the car was already engulfed in flames. Firefighters extinguished the fire, but were unable to save the vehicle. Arson is being considered, but the police investigation has yet to determine that.
