Captain Tanja Pawollek has prematurely extended her contract with the women’s Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt by two years.
The central midfielder’s original contract ran until 2023, the new one until June 30, 2025, the Hessians announced. The 23-year-old has been playing for Frankfurt for six years.
So far she has played 109 Bundesliga games. After wearing the jersey of the German national team from U15 to U20 and becoming U17 European champion during this time, Pawollek celebrated her debut for the Polish national team this June.
