FC Bayern is now also officially new German champion. SC Freiburg won a 2-2 draw against the reigning title holder Bayer 04 Leverkusen on Sunday evening. The Munich team, who had played 2-2 at RB Leipzig on Saturday, would only have been suppressed in theory due to their significantly better goal difference – but Bayer 04 would have had to win in Freiburg.
