Bundesliga return for Alcacer? BVB, Union and Hertha BSC offered

Villarreal contract until 2025

Former BVB striker Paco Alcácer is thinking of returning to the German Bundesliga – this is reported by the TV station sky. The 28-year-old Spaniard, who has been under contract with FC Villarreal since January 2020 but is no longer set by coach Unai Emery, has rejected offers from the USA.

The offensive man’s management offered him to his former club Borussia Dortmund, Union Berlin and Hertha BSC. However, the black and yellow would prefer a different type of striker to replace the seriously ill Sébastien Haller (28). It is not known how the Berlin Bundesliga team feel about the personnel. According to reports, Alcácer would be available for well under 10 million euros – its market value is currently estimated at 9 million euros.

Alcácer has scored 21 goals (12 assists) in 75 games for Villarreal and his contract runs until June 2025. According to reports, he would give up part of his salary if he changed positions. Between August 2018 and January 2020, Alcácer was successful 26 times in 47 appearances for the black and yellow. Including the rental fee, BVB once paid 23 million euros for him, and the Westphalians collected the same amount when he was sold to Spain.
