More than 200 Bundesliga professionals vote
Bayern player is the disappointment of the season according to the survey

After the end of the season, the “kicker” regularly interviews Bundesliga players in their opinion. Bavaria’s João Palhinha will not like a result.
Nations League, U21 European Championship and Club World Cup are still pending, but the Bundesliga season is already over. In a league -wide survey by the specialist magazine “Kicker”, 216 players now gave their opinion on individual topics.
Almost 40 percent did not want to give any information when asked about the greatest disappointment among field players. Bavaria’s João Palhinha received most of the remaining votes. 13.4 percent voted for the Portuguese. Bavaria had paid more than 50 million euros, but Palhinha hardly fits into the system of coach Vincent Kompany. It was used in 24 games across competitions, but was only in the starting eleven nine times.
Dortmund’s Julian Brandt (10.2 percent) ended up in second place, third was Victor Boniface from Bayer Leverkusen (6.9 percent). The biggest disappointment among the goalkeepers was Bochum’s Patrick Drewes (13.9 percent), who had lost his regular place at VfL to Timo Horn during the season.
National player Florian Wirtz is still the best player in the Bundesliga for his professional colleagues. Wirtz, who led the vote last year, prevailed with 28.2 percent of the votes just ahead of Michael Olise from Meister Bayern Munich (26.4 percent).
After his successful first year at FC Barcelona, the professionals chose the former national coach Hansi Flick as the best coach in the world. Teen Sensation Lamine Yamal is the best offensive, Liverpools Virgil van Dijk the best defensive player. The best goalkeeper is Gianluigi Donnarumma by Champions League winner Paris Saint-Germain.
