The national and international clubs are planning for the coming second half of the season. All important news in the transfer ticker.

The German clubs are allowed to sign additional players until February 2nd (8 p.m.). At t-online you can find an overview of information about changes from Germany and the world.

Arsenal FC is greeting us from the top of the table in the Premier League, but the club is now apparently giving its supporters a reason to be happy outside of the sporting events. According to “The Athletic”, superstar Bukayo Saka has extended his contract in north London until 2031. The original working paper was valid until 2027.

According to the report, the new contract will be accompanied by a salary increase, although exact amounts are not mentioned. As the club’s figurehead, Saka is likely to be one of the top earners. In 2018, the English international made his professional debut for the “Gunners” at the age of 17. Since then, he has contributed 77 goals and 77 assists in 290 games. The offensive player is also a fixture in the national team under Thomas Tuchel.

So far, something has only happened at BVB on the exit side. After the changes of Pascal Groß and Cole Campbell, the club is, according to “Bild”, examining a possible winter transfer: Aleksandar Stanković (20) from Club Bruges is therefore on the BVB bosses’ list. The Serbian U21 international is the son of former Inter star Dejan Stankovic.

He came to Belgium from Milan in the summer for 9.5 million euros – and has significantly increased his market value since then. In addition to BVB, Leverkusen and other clubs are also said to be interested. It remains to be seen whether Dortmund will take action now. The squad in central midfield is actually well staffed. An advance could still be worthwhile – before Stanković becomes even more expensive in the summer.

Manchester City have signed Antoine Semenyo from AFC Bournemouth for a sum in the high double-digit millions. The London-born Ghana international signed a five-and-a-half-year contract.

According to media reports, Man City will pay a transfer fee of the equivalent of almost 72 million euros (62.5 million pounds) for the 26-year-old. Bournemouth said it was a record sum for the club, without giving any figures.
