Exclusive advance ticket sales, limited merchandise drops and a global fan community… you name it.
The K-pop group BTS announced their comeback after a break of almost four years – musically and live. The fifth joint album entitled ARIRANG will be released on March 20, 2026. The world tour starts in April in her home country of South Korea. A so-called ARMY MEMBERSHIP has several advantages for fans. For example, anyone who registers in the Weverse shop by midnight on January 19th has a better chance of getting tickets – as there is an exclusive advance sale for members.
What’s behind the fan name?
The term “ARMY” stands for Adorable Representative MC for Youth, which in German means lovable representative voice of the youth. The name describes the fans as a supportive, audible and engaged community that carries BTS’ messages.
At the same time, “ARMY” takes up the band name BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan), which translates to “bulletproof boy scouts” and stands for protection against criticism, prejudice and negative influences. The military symbolism connects both names in terms of content: BTS and ARMY together form a unit that stands up for each other, strengthens each other and embodies the values of cohesion, loyalty and resilience.
Priority access, exclusive content and discounts
An ARMY MEMBERSHIP in the Weverse shop for BTS offers fans significant advantages through priority access to limited products and exclusive releases. For example, members can purchase gadgets for the tour early on, such as official lightsticks, special concert accessories or limited-edition fan items. In addition, ARMY members receive access to exclusive content such as special photos, videos or behind-the-scenes material. The offer is rounded off by exclusive discounts and member promotions to ensure exclusivity and the loyalty of fans to the group.
Strong community, social projects, global impact
The ARMY MEMBERSHIP also strengthens the feeling of a global community in which fans are connected across national and cultural borders. As part of the ARMY, members get involved in social projects, support charitable campaigns and advocate for positive social change.
The ARMY organizes fundraisers around the world for educational projects, disaster relief or mental health, often inspired by messages and anniversaries from BTS. A well-known example is supporting initiatives such as Black Lives Matter or UNICEF campaigns against violence against children. This collective power gives the fan community a global impact that goes far beyond music and merchandise and actively spreads BTS’s values of cohesion, respect and mutual support to the world.
Upcoming ticket sales
Ticketmaster presales take place in two phases: the regular presale and the ARMY MEMBERSHIP PRESALE. The latter offers fans with membership crucial advantages. The ARMY MEMBERSHIP PRESALE starts on January 22nd, 2026 at 1:00 p.m., two days before the regular presale.
For everyone without a membership, this begins on January 24, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. Members were able to prioritize three of the 79 concerts in advance – although this does not guarantee tickets. The band is also coming to Germany for two concerts. The boys’ gigs are planned for July 11th and 12th, 2026 in Munich’s Allianz Arena – there the group will perform on a 360-degree stage for 75,000 spectators.
