Brouns is working on turbo procedure to grant defense permits faster: “bureaucracy should not be an obstacle to our safety”

Flemish minister of surroundings Jo Brouns wants to ensure faster permit procedures for defense and the defense industry. According to the CD&V Minister, a special decree and a new department within the Department of Environment must “ensure accelerated permit procedures, so that critical infrastructure and military production infrastructure can be realized without delay”.
