The older brother of the Oasis co-founder Liam and Noel Gallagher has to answer for suspected rape, triple sexual assault and other violent offenses, as the British police “Rolling Stone” confirmed.
The 59-year-old Paul Gallagher was charged by Scotland Yard, according to a spokeswoman for the London Metropolitan Police Service, after a corresponding examination was initiated last year.

The charges also include the accusation of compulsive and controlling behavior, three cases of intentional strangulation, two threats to death and bodily harm with actual health damage, the police said.
Gallagher, who lives in the East Finchley district of London, is to appear in front of the Westminster Magistrates’ Court on August 27th. “The acts are said to have occurred between 2022 and 2024,” continued the spokeswoman. “A woman is currently looking after a special -trained civil servant.”
Connection to the Oasis family
Gallagher published the book “Brothers: From Childhood to Oasis – The Real Story” in 1997. But he is not a member of the band of his younger brothers. The message comes just a few weeks after the start of the eagerly awaited international reunion tour from Oasis.
Neither Paul Gallagher nor a representative of the band reacted to an inquiry to comment.
