Britt Dekker and Wendy van Dijk tormented: ‘Ruined the whole day again!’

Britt Dekker and Wendy van Dijk have been sulking all day long, because the Ministars viewing figures are back in. “That remains an agony to watch in the early morning.”

You don’t hear anyone about it and that’s not surprising, because no one is watching: Ministars. Britt Dekker and Wendy van Dijk hoped to fill the gap left by The Voice Kids with this program, but that leap has not turned out to be very successful. They have ended up at the bottom of the viewing ravine.

Viewing ravine

Ministars managed to charm almost no one again yesterday; 402 thousand people (4 percent market share) were ready for this expensive program on SBS 6. According to critics, the talent show is therefore very cliché and more of the same. The only original thing about this entire format is that Samantha Steenwijk was not asked.

The jury is formed by Snelle, Sanne Hans and Rolf Sanchez. Or who lose sleep over the viewing figures? Probably not. For example, Rolf is enjoying a nice holiday on Boracay, where he is very casual continuously tries to get the logo of the extremely expensive Shangri-La hotel on his screen Instagram photos. “Work hard, but also chill hard!”

It yields likes from types such as Bas Smit and Robbert Rodenburg.

Huge torment

For whom it is crying with the cap on? Britt Dekker and Wendy van Dijk. After all, after the recordings have ended, they cannot go nibbling in a packed party tent and are more or less dependent on their viewing figures. Although it makes a difference in their case that they both have a good relationship with Talpa bobo Erland Galjaard.

Tina Nijkamp, the former boss of SBS 6, writes: “Next week finally the final. How relieved Wendy, Britt and SBS 6 will be when this program is no longer on the schedule. Bad ratings are always a torment to watch in the early morning and ruin your day. Horrible.”

Chantal also not a hit

Wendy’s rival Chantal Janzen has also been unsuccessful for weeks with her Pyjama Party, but her scores are not really poignant. Yesterday, 715 thousand people watched (13 percent). “That is not much for RTL 4, which is easily used to millions of viewers on Friday evenings, including The Masked Singer and I Can See Your Voice.”

What people did watch last night on prime time? The final of De Slimste Mens with 3 million viewers (49 percent) on NPO 1 and the subsequent broadcast Bij Van Duin Op De Achterbank with 1.6 million viewers (31 percent). SBS 6’s Today Inside was also a hit with 853 thousand viewers (20 percent).
