Britney Spears and her husband Sam Asghari have split. This was reported by the US tabloid magazine TMZ on Wednesday (August 16). The separation was preceded by a heated argument involving allegations of fraud.
According to an anonymous source, Asghari confronted the singer about a week ago with rumors that she had cheated, it said. The 29-year-old has since moved out of the house they shared and wants to file for divorce. Allegedly, the marriage had been in crisis for months.
TMZ reports that there have been “deep issues” in the couple’s relationship for months. Sam no longer slept in the house very often, and Britney is said to have engaged in violent fights with him, which included frequent shouting matches. Asghari now lives in his own apartment. A source said: “It’s only a matter of time before Sam files for divorce.”
Loud TMZ Britney has a prenuptial agreement that protects her assets. However, an insider said the likely end of the marriage will be a check from Britney to Sam, which will at least settle things financially.

On September 18, 2004, she married dancer Kevin Federline. Their first son was born in 2005, the second was born in September 2006. The marriage was divorced in July 2007.
