Brian Johnson and Sam Fender sing AC/DC classics together

Johnson sang two tracks from AC/DC’s 1980 album Back In Black with fellow singer-songwriter Sam Fender on Saturday night: the title track and You Shook Me All Night Long.

Fender, who performed at the 50,000-seat Newcastle United home ground on the second of two nights, first introduced his former guitar teacher Phil Martin on stage. He then explained to the audience that they were going to play two AC/DC songs. Here he added, “But we can’t play AC/DC songs without the one, the only legend from Geordie, AC/DC lead singer Brian Johnson.” Then Johnson walked in from the wings, as did “Loudersound reported. Videos captured by fans capture this moment.
