Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (79) was admitted to hospital on Monday night and underwent surgery for a brain haemorrhage. The operation went off without a hitch and the president is “doing well.” The Sírio-Libanês hospital in the capital Brasilia announced this.
