Formula One engaged in the weekend in Brazil: with three stages to go, the two teams are fighting for second place behind Red Bull in the constructors’ classification. A race within a race, whose odds we will evaluate

Ferrari against Mercedes, Leclerc and Sainz against Hamilton and Russel: a race within a race that can give meaning to the Brazilian GP, in Interlagos, the third to last stage of a world championship already in the archives for some time. Verstappen won his third title well in advance, Red Bull is first in the constructors’ standings. The crumbs remain, but they have a value: at Ferrari there is not only the duel between Charles and Carlos over who will finish first, but also the challenge with Mercedes for second place. The German manufacturer has 371 points in the standings, while Maranello is following with 349: 22 points to close by 26 November, the day on which Formula 1 will close the season on the Abu Dhabi track. Let’s find out the odds for the Brazilian GP which will take place on Sunday 5 November at 6pm.

BRAZIL GP ODDS: FERRARI-MERCEDES CHALLENGE

In the last few races, Mercedes has demonstrated a clear superiority over Ferrari but in three stages the drivers really have everything at stake. In front, as always, there will be Max Verstappen, 16 successes in the season and an almost unprecedented dominance. But then there is the other race, the one reserved for humans. And according to the bookmakers of the main betting sites, Leclerc does not seem to have great chances of success before the official tests: even when he started on pole, as in Mexico, he then finished behind. This season, then, he has never won a GP unlike Sainz, first in Singapore. According to Gazzabet, the winning Monegasque’s odds are worth 22.00 against Planetwin365’s 23.00. On Snai the rating drops to 20. Hamilton, however, is behind Verstappen: odds of 8.00 for Gazzabet and Planetwin365, 7.50 for Snai.

THE SPRINT RACE

For Ferrari and Mercedes the evaluations for the Sprint Race scheduled for Saturday 4 November at 7.30 pm are different. In the shorter race, the Reds seem more competitive: Leclerc is victorious over Gazzabet at 9.00, like Hamilton, over Snai at 12 and over Planetwin 365 at 16. In the drivers’ standings, the fight for second place is still open: for now, at 240 points, Perez is in the other Red Bull behind Verstappen but Hamilton is chasing at 220 while the Ferrari drivers are still behind and playing for third place on the podium: Sainz has 183 points, like Alonso, while Leclerc only 166, also preceded by three points by Norris.
