Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro will visit Russia on February 14-17. “RIA News” at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country.
“The planned visit of the President to Moscow [состоится] February 14-17,” the department noted.
Bolsonaro accepted the invitation of Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in December 2021. Then Poder 360 reported that the trip should take place in February or March 2022.

“We are going to deepen relations with Russia. Let’s get ready to make this visit an opportunity to use our economy,” Bolsonaro said.
Putin invited the Brazilian President to Russia on December 1, 2021, speaking at the ceremony of presenting credentials by the ambassadors of other states who arrived in the country. He stressed that Brazil is an important strategic partner of Russia and confirmed Moscow’s intention to strengthen cooperation with Brazil in trade, economic, energy and other areas.
