Meppen (dpa) – Eintracht Braunschweig has not yet made the direct return to the 2nd Bundesliga perfect. Coach Michael Schiele’s team lost 2:3 (1:2) at SV Meppen and thus initially missed out on promotion.
However, it is still up to Braunschweig to secure second place. A win against Viktoria Köln next Saturday and Eintracht is back in the second division. Even if Kaiserslautern doesn’t win at Viktoria Köln this Sunday, Eintracht’s rise is certain.
