Brandenburg’s scandal minister Jochen Wolf found dead in a bathtub

A wife killed herself, the lover shot herself. In 2001, the Potsdam Regional Court sentenced him to five years in prison for attempting to incite the murder of his fourth wife. Now Brandenburg’s scandal minister Jochen Wolf (formerly SPD) himself has been found dead.

He was found dead in his apartment’s bathtub. It was no third party fault, says the prosecutor.

Wolf is considered Brandenburg’s first transport minister, the co-founder of the East SPD – and Germany’s worst scandal minister.

Former star politician wanted to kill woman

In an interview in 2014 he said: “My second wife was a nymphomaniac. After she was diagnosed with uterine cancer, she saw no purpose in life.” She took her own life.

He couldn’t marry his much younger Ukrainian girlfriend Oksana († 26) at the time because wife number four didn’t want to get a divorce. Oksana despairs, in 1998 she takes Wolf’s pistol and shoots herself.

Lonely and embittered, he plots revenge and wants to have his wife killed. He pays 5000 German marks for a contract killer. Wolf in 2014 to BILD: “I wanted to unsubscribe from the killer when the handcuffs clicked in front of the tie shop at Bahnhof Zoo. It wasn’t a crime. That was just stupidity on my part.”

While he was still in custody, he tried to take his own life for the first time, but was saved.
