Brad Pitt’s lawyer comments on Angelina Jolie’s claim of abusing the couple’s common child, reports Mirror.
The old abuse case between Jolie and Pitt resurfaced in the summer of 2022.
Jolie recently revealed more details about the abuse, which do not only extend to her. According to Jolie, one of the couple’s six children also got their share of the violence.
Now Pitt’s lawyers have assured that Pitt will answer the accusations in court.
Jolie has alleged that Pitt choked their daughter, poured beer on her and choked her, throwing her against a wall. Pitt has denied the aggravating accusations but admitted that he suffered from alcohol-related problems.
Lawyer Anne Kiley alleges that Pitt has been subjected to personal attacks and misrepresentations during the six years that Jolie and Pitt have been separated.
Kiley claimed that Pitt took responsibility for his actions “from day one, unlike the other side.”
– He’s not going to admit anything he hasn’t done, Kiley commented.
– Brad will continue to answer in court as he has done until now.
The alleged incident reportedly took place on a private jet in 2016, the same year Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt.
Pitt’s close circle has claimed that Jolie is running a smear campaign against her ex-spouse.
In addition to internal family disputes, the former couple is also fighting in court over the ownership of their joint businesses.
