Tyson Fury is apparently not thinking about hanging up his boxing gloves after his second defeat against world champion Oleksandr Usyk. In the background, the “Gypsy King” is reportedly already in talks about another mega fight – but not against the Ukrainian.

Tyson Fury didn’t show a bad performance in the second duel with world champion Oleksandr Usyk either. But on Saturday in Riyadh his opponent was also a touch better and deservedly won on points after twelve rounds.

The “Gypsy King” now wants to lick his wounds over the Christmas holidays in the company of his loved ones – and then fully attack again. The Sun reports that the 36-year-old told his friends after the fight: “It’s not over.”

“Battle of Britain” is already being negotiated

The question is what will happen next for the former world champion, especially since a third fight against Usyk will probably not take place for various reasons. Therefore, according to the tabloid, negotiations are already underway behind the scenes about a duel between Fury and Anthony Joshua.

The long-awaited “Battle of Britain” could take place at Wembley Stadium in 2025 and become the biggest fight in history in which not a single world championship belt is at stake.

“There is only one fight for Tyson Fury”

Joshua promoter Eddie Hearn was already promoting the duel in Riyadh and said: “There is only one fight for Tyson Fury and that is against Anthony Joshua. That would probably be the biggest fight in the history of British boxing. Everyone will have it Want to see fight. It will be a global event.”

The duel Fury vs. Joshua has been discussed for years. In 2021, the parties had already agreed, but the associations intervened and obliged Tyson Fury to first get into the ring against Deontay Wilder.

While the “Gypsy King” fought his trilogy against the “Bronze Bomber”, AJ suffered two defeats in a row against Usyk. This development prevented the “Battle of Britain”, which could now take place after a little delay.
