Instead of a political career in the Utrecht city council, three-time Dutch boxing champion Steven Killian went to jail for eight years as the kingpin behind a Utrecht thief gang. In his cell, a fellow prisoner doused him with boiling hot oil, resulting in permanent scars. In prison Killian wrote his book Plofkraker.
