For years, Manny Pacquiao was one of the best boxes in the world. Now he climbs into the ring again at the age of 46.

The Filipino box icon Manny Pacquiao actually returns to the ring at the age of 46. He now confirmed a corresponding ESPN report from the beginning of May via Instagram. “I’m back,” wrote Pacquiao on social media: “Let’s write history!” On July 19, in the MGM Grand of Las Vegas he will fight against the American Mario Barrios for the WBC title in the world weight.

With world championship titles in eight different weight classes, Pacquiao is one of the best boxers of his time, in September 2021 he ended his career after a point defeat against the Cuban Yordenis Ugas. He is also politically active in his homeland and, among other things, unsuccessfully fought for the Presidency of the Philippines.
