Hertha BSC made a serious mistake in the promotion race. The Berliners lost against bottom-placed Magdeburg. Things went well in the Frankenderby after the break.

Hertha BSC’s winning streak was broken on Sunday afternoon in front of their home crowd. After winning seven competitive games in a row, including the furious 6-1 in the DFB Cup against Kaiserslautern during the week, the Berliners lost 0-2 (0-0) in the 2nd Bundesliga against bottom team Magdeburg. A bitter mistake in the promotion race.

At the same time, a spectacle took place in Nuremberg. In the Frankenderby the “Club” and Greuther Fürth drew 2-2 (0-0). All the goals came after the break – within 14 minutes. Braunschweig and Kiel also played a draw. In the end it was 1:1 (1:1).
