Oliver Neuville is the constant on the coaching bench at Borussia Mönchengladbach and will remain in the future. The former striker has been a co-coach at the foals since summer 2019 and took this role both under Marco Rose (88 games), Adi Hütter (37 games) and Daniel Farke (36 games) and currently at Gerardo Seoane (71 games).
“I’ve been here for almost 20 years now and Borussia is my second home. Working with the boys is a lot of fun and I am full of friends on everything that is still ahead of us,” said Neuville, whose new contract period has not been published. Managing Director Roland Virkus added: “Olli has been there for a long time among different head coaches in the coaching team. In the course of time, his area of responsibility has continued to develop. Of course, he is still an important contact for our French -speaking players, but passes on his experience to the entire team. Because of his vita, he particularly serves as a guide for the offensive players.”
