The book by author Saskia Martens is heart-warming. The Zitski Plot is available in all bookstores and is above all an inspiring book about the courage of Lilou, her family and friends, a story about resilience. Flemish minister Rob Beenders is also inspired. He visited Lilou today. “It’s incredible. Lilou shows how, despite a huge setback, you can be an example in three years. If you can do that, you are just a very strong person. That deserves all the support. I will deliver this book to all ministers in the Flemish government. I think we should really make more efforts to support people with disabilities.”
