Book fair Boektopia starts

For nine days you can enjoy 12,000 books from more than 70 publishers in two large halls in Kortrijk Xpo. With the event, the book fair wants to get every visitor to read more. Children and young people in particular are less and less reverting to a book.

Kortrijk Xpo is not just for visitors. Dozens of authors from home and abroad will also be present for lectures, debates and interviews.

More than just books

Moreover, Boektopia does not only focus on books. After the rapid rise of podcasts, they too have their place in the halls. During the event, 102 podcasts will be recorded live in the halls and in the reading room you can listen to numerous books for 63 hours.

The event kicks off today and runs through November 6.
