THEn Italy starting a new business for under 35s is complex terrain: between initial costs, economic uncertainties and a job market that struggles to stabilize, many business ideas often remain suspended halfway or fail before they even see the light. In this less than rosy scenario, however, the new INPS bonus for young entrepreneurs under 35, which seeks to lighten at least some of the economic burden of the early stages of a nascent business.
INPS bonus for young entrepreneurs under 35, an incentive that looks to the future
The contribution was born within the Cohesion decree, designed to support those who have not yet turned 35 and wants to start a business in crucial sectors for the coming decades: digital technologies, ecological innovation, cleaner and smarter production processes. The goal is to encourage a generation to enter precisely where the market is changing fastest.
The platform to obtain the incentive of 500 euros per month
The INPS has opened the portal to submit an application and access the expected 500 euros per monthup to a maximum of three years. It is a contribution that does not alone change the destiny of a company, but it can be the fuse that lights the first phase of development: a rent to pay, an essential software license, the initial costs for a prototype or for a communication campaign.
How to enter the path
For many young entrepreneurs, bureaucracy is a more feared obstacle than the expenses themselves. This time, however, the path is quite linear. INPS has included the bonus among non-pension benefitsaccessible via digital identity: Spid (Public Digital Identity System), Cie (Electronic Identity Card), Cns (National Services Card) or eIDAS, the European electronic identity system. Once logged in to the social security institution’s website, you cross a guided route that leads to the area dedicated to the “Cohesion Decree Incentive”.
The timing
Those who do not have digital credentials can contact the charities or the Contact Center, which provides telephone support. One of the most interesting aspects of the bonus concerns the timing. The incentive, in fact, is intended for young people under 35 who started a business between 1 July 2024 and 31 December 2025. The application must be sent within 30 days of opening the business.
How much is the young entrepreneurs bonus really worth?
The bonus provides 500 euros per month, up to three yearsand in any case no later than 31 December 2028. It is a sum that may seem limited, but put into perspective it becomes a real piece: it covers, for example, a part of the fixed costs, or allows you to finance essential technical consultancy in the first months.
The contribution is paid in advance every yearcalculated on actual months of activity. The provision remains linked to the available resources, a detail that suggests that nNot all applications could be accepted if the requests exceeded the allocated funds. But those who start the procedure in time will have a better chance of recovering from the financing.
A tool, not a solution
The “Young entrepreneurs bonus” does not promise miracles. It is a limited aid, aimed at the most innovative sectors and designed to lighten the first months, those in which every decision weighs and every expense seems greater than expected. The incentive means allow those who wish to try it with a little less fear. And for many, today, it could be exactly what is needed to turn a good intuition into a real job.
