Biathlon star historically-DSV quartet is experiencing debacle

Johannes Thingnes Bö is still expanding his own record at the World Cup in Lenzerheide. Another creates the next coup – the German athletes, on the other hand, go away empty -handed.
The German biathletes experienced another debacle at the 22nd World Cup triumph by Dominator Johannes Thingnes Bö. As the best athlete of the DSV quartet, Philipp Horn ended up in 17th place in the persecution over 12.5 km. After all, Horn improved by 27 places after an indiscussable sprint. The German team had already disappointed immensely on Saturday.
In contrast, Sprint World Champion Bö presented himself once again in impressive form. For the “Bö-Minator” it was the 22nd World Cup success. On Saturday he had already surpassed the record of his legendary Norwegian compatriot Ole Einar Björndalen in his last title fights. After his improvement, Horn spoke of “fun and self -confidence”, which he takes with him to the next races. He felt “like another person” on Sunday.
Shortly before, Franziska Preuss had won gold in the pursuer of the women. It was the third medal for the German Ski Association for Silver for Prussia in Sprint and third place in the mixed competition.
