Zvonimir Boban returns home. The former Milan Croatian midfielder has announced that from next June, 34 years after the farewell, he will return to Dinamo Zagreb as president. “I entered the Maksimir stadium for the first time on 1 September 1982 and the desire remained the same,” Boban said in a press conference in Zagreb. “Zvone is Dinamo, and Dinamo is Zvone. It is a natural return,” said the current president of the club, Velimir Zajec, to whom Boban will happen. “Love for a single team knows no boundaries, love for a single team knows no obstacles, love for a team unites all those who love that team”, the slogan chosen by Dinamo and Boban to announce the return.

Growing up first in the Hajduk Split and, then, in the same Dinamo, Boban makes his debut at sixteen, and remains in the Zagreb team until 1991, before taking to move to Milan (who sends him on loan to Bari in the 1991/92 season). With the Rossoneri he won four badges and the Champions League of 1994, while with the Croatian national team, of which he is captain in the first, historic, participation in the World Championships of France 1998, wins third place.
