Bob Dylan surprises with a tender Leonard Cohen cover

Bob Dylan sang a version of Leonard Cohen’s “Dance Me to the End of Love” during a performance in Montreal, Canada, as part of his “Rough and Rowdy Ways” tour. It was the first time the 82-year-old played it live. He previously posted it on his website and YouTube channel as part of his ongoing series “Murder Most Foul” published.

The performance received a standing ovation from the audience at the Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier, Place des Arts, where Dylan was performing as part of his tour. This began on October 2nd in Milwaukee and ends on November 19th in Boston.

Actor Timothée Chalamet recently revealed that he is working with the team that supported Austin Butler on “Elvis” to prepare for his role as Dylan in the upcoming biopic “A Complete Unknown.” He explained, according to NME, that he prepared extensively for the role by reading Dylan’s memoirs, Chronicles, published in 2004.
