The German company announces light refinements and new colors arriving for next year’s R 1300 GS, R 1300 GS Adventure, S 1000 XR and F 900 GS
After presenting its main innovations for next year at the last Eicma show in Milan, where the new F 450 GS undoubtedly attracted the public’s attention, BMW Motorrad completes the picture of its offer by announcing i Model Year 2026 of some of the models that have not been heavily updated for the new season. This series of light interventions involved four protagonists of the range, the revered R 1300 GSits counterpart Adventurethe mighty crossovers S 1000 XR and balanced F 900 GSall enriched by new setups, updated colors and even small refinements to the equipment. BMW R 1300 GS MY 2026

The R 1300 GS, the latest heir to the GS dynasty that reigns in the motorcycle segment maxi-adventureis powered by the now familiar twin-cylinder boxers latest generation from 1,300 cc, 145 HP And 149 Nm of maximum torque. Featuring a compact chassis and a low center of gravity, it sports a first-class electronics package. The chassis is equally sharp and also offers electronic suspension management as an option. Only one new feature is expected for the GS Model Year 2026, namely the arrival of the color combination White Aluminum Matt metallic / Racing Blue metallic for the Trophy variant. The base price of the motorbike is 21,500 euros and the weight in running order is around 237kg.
BMW R 1300 GS Adventure MY 2026

As evidenced by the name, the R 1300 GS Adventure is the most exploration-oriented version of the GS, designed for those who tackle long distances and challenging dirt roads. Compared to the standard R 1300 Gs it offers a larger tank, wider aerodynamic protection and a general structure designed for long-term adventures, with reinforced components and a riding position designed to guarantee comfort even on longer stages. However, the base price rises to 24,050 euros and the weight with full a 269kg. For 2026 the model receives two targeted updates: the handguard extension now becomes an integral part of the Touring packagefurther improving protection during travel, while the Enduro engine guard is included as standard in the Enduro Pro packagethus making the bike even more ready to tackle the most rugged terrain.
BMW S 1000 XR MY 2026

The S 1000 1,000 cc of supersport derivation capable of offering 170 HP of power and 114 Nm of couple. In 2026, the F 900 GS focuses above all on an aesthetic renewal: the Passion version adopts the new livery Snapper Rocks Blue Matt metallic which replaces the previous one Sao Paulo Yellow uniwhile the Trophy version introduces a more vibrant and sporty color scheme consisting of Racing Blue metallic, Light White uni And Racing Red uniwith the rear frame painted in Racing Red uni.
