The fire brigade had the flames under control about an hour and a half after the call. They also managed to limit the fire to the roof apartment and thus prevented expansion to the adjacent houses. The apartment has been completely destroyed. The underlying floors also suffered water and soot damage.
The after -blussings and ventilation of the building took a long time. The resident was taken to the hospital for a check -up. Nothing is known about the cause of the fire.
