Setback for Lukas Reichel: The Chicago Blackhawks from the North American professional ice hockey league NHL have sent the German national player to their farm team.
The striker from Nuremberg will initially play for the Rockford IceHogs in the American Hockey League (AHL). The Blackhawks announced this on Sunday.
Reichel has already been missing from the Blackhawks squad in the last two games; in 50 appearances so far this season, the 21-year-old has only scored three goals and seven assists for ten scorer points.
Reichel now has to recommend himself to the IceHogs for a return to the NHL squad.
