The SPORT 2000 trade association fills a key post. On Monday, the company belonging to the AnwR Group announced the appointment of Björn Endter to the Head of Division Teamsport.

The 46-year-old will take up his new post on May 1st and in future take “responsibility for the entire team sport area within the 7-countries of Sport 2000 GmbH”, according to a statement. In this function he follows Alexander Löbe, who decided to “look for a new challenge”.

Managing Director Dominik Solleder explained the personnel decision. “We are very happy to have won Björn Endter for Sport 2000,” he said in a statement. “His versatile and international expertise from the trade, the soccer professional business and on the brand side are the best conditions for continuing to successfully conduct our team sports segment and set the right impulses.”

Endter comes from 11teamsports

According to his future employer, Endter has more 20 years of experience in the sports industry and brings “well -founded specialist knowledge from the areas of sales & marketing, strategy and corporate development”.

Most recently, he worked as a general manager for sports licenses and director for the professional clubs and associations of Europe at 11Teamsports. Before that, he had conducted leading positions at the Fortuna Düsseldorf, FC Augsburg and Schalke 04 football clubs. He was also employed as an area manager team sports at the sporting goods provider Puma and in various functions with the team sports supplier do you football.
