As a TV maker, Filemon Wesselink finds it reprehensible that Sacha Visser has seduced the fallen soap star Ferry Doedens into having his misery filmed for 50,000 euros. “It annoys me to no end.”

It doesn’t look good on the CV of documentary maker Sacha Visser, still known to the general public for his role in Kees & Co: the controversial film about the sad life of Ferry Doedens. We all recently saw how his life is in shambles and that he is addicted to narcotics and bitcoin trading.

50,000 euros

Filemon Wesselink finds it scandalous that Sacha took advantage of this guy. “What really annoys me: the documentary about Ferry Doedens,” he says The Telegraph.

Not enough responsibility has been shown, the NPO star believes. “I mean, someone is already dying on the floor and then as a TV maker you say: here you have 50,000 euros. Can we film you breaking down even further? That you are going to buy new drugs?”

Disaster tourism

Ferry has been shamelessly used for commercial gain, Filemon believes. “At one point he was jerking off in the shower, I really can’t watch that. We learn nothing from that kind of disaster tourism. It starts with misery and it ends with misery. What do we learn from that?”

By the way, the presenter likes to gossip about celebrities, he admits. “I’m very good at gossiping about stupid people. About why they’re stupid, which really annoys me. With friends, colleagues and my girlfriend. That relaxes me.”
