“Bite My Head Off” offers more punk & Paul McCartney

The Rolling Stones have released another single from their latest album “Hackney Diamonds” called “Bite My Head Off”. The latest track features a bass contribution from Paul McCartney and has strong punk influences.

The video that was released shows the band in a club setting. The comments on YouTube are mostly positive. One user writes: “I’m fascinated when I think about how these legends can still rock so hard after 60 years and make it look so easy. The Stones, Paul and the Beatles! My father listened to them when he was a teenager. I listened to my father’s music as a teenager, and now my children, who are almost teenagers, listen to my music. Three full generations!”

More about “Hackney Diamonds”

The Rolling Stones have released their first new studio album in 18 years, “Hackney Diamonds”. It was released on October 20th. The LP contains 12 songs, two of which feature Charlie Watts on drums. Steve Jordan was chosen as his successor and can be heard on the rest of the album. Ronnie Wood explains the difference between the two as follows: “The best way I can describe it is: Charlie was a firework with lots of bangers and Steve Jordan is like a bomb going off. We needed that extra push.”
