The German shoe provider Birkenstock is currently showing a pop-up space presence in the fashion metropolis Paris.
The “Birkenstock Atelier” at Rue de Turenne 51 in the Marais district was opened on September 16 and now serves “as a platform for storyting, the staging of craftsmanship and creative exchange,” says a message published on Monday. The aim is to strengthen the “brand presence in Paris”.
In the “Temporary Community Space”, which also houses a café and a library, Birkenstock now organizes “a curated cultural program at the interface of art, design, craft and health that corresponds to the creative and forward -designed energy of Paris”. Among other things, this consists of “artist talks, live music, workshops, wellness rituals and community meetings”.
In addition, “more than two and a half centuries of shoemaker tradition” in the form of “immersive experiences” would be brought to life, the company said. In addition, Birkenstock is presenting its new body care line “Care Essentials” exclusively in Europe.
