What is BioMamboretá?
BioMamboretá is the line ecological of Mamboreta. Its purpose is prevent and control minor attacks by maintaining the plants healthyand in this way reduce the use of traditional products. To develop it we took into account three characteristics that all items in this line should have.

Many people believe that a product is ecological just because it doesn’t enter the plant, and that is a common mistake. Ecological is not defined by the mechanism of action, but by the total impact of the product: how it is manufactured, what toxicity it has, what residue it leaves in the environment, how it affects the soil and how safe it is for those who use it. A product may not enter the plant and still have a blue band or generate unwanted waste. That’s why BioMamboretá is based on broader criteria: Minimum toxicity, zero deficiency days and the lowest possible environmental impact.
How long has it existed BioMamboretá?
The first product was Vitalreleased in 1995. Then came Oil 85E in the early 2000s and, in 2017, Smarter. At that time it was not yet common to separate lines under ecological criteria, so only in 2021 did we formalize BioMamboretá to give the consumer a clear reference about which products were organic and which were traditional.

Although today the line still does not represent a significant part of the turnover, we hope that, as consumers understand the value of prevention, BioMamboretá will surpass the traditional line in sales. When that happens, it will mean that the end user incorporated the habit of prevention and that the use of stronger products began to decrease naturally.
