THEon the way to the final of Big Brother 2025 yesterday it got shorter: from now on there are only two episodes left to finish of the Canale 5 reality show hosted by Simona Ventura. Just yesterday, shortly before 10pm, the eleventh episode began: “Did you miss me?” the presenter asked the tenants before closing the televoting that decreed who the second finalist is: Jonas Pepe. Omer Eleomari and Grazia Kendy were saved and therefore Mattia Scudieri left the game.

With only two episodes left to go, has Big Brother 2025 won the ratings challenge? No! Yesterday evening was dominated by Can Yaman, protagonist of Sandokan on Rai 1 which totaled 5,755,000 million viewers with a 33.9% share. To follow the Canale 5 reality show attracted 1,852,000 viewers, with a share of 14.3%. In short, a story we’ve already seen.

Yesterday’s episode was very rich in themes and yet the commentators, from Sonia Bruganelli to the three former Gieffini Ascanio Pacelli, Floriana Secondi and Cristina Plevani, didn’t have too much space. Simona Ventura carried the entire episode on her shoulders, which also saw the entry into the House of Dolce Dona, competitor of the Big Brother VIP in Kosovoa model and influencer who speaks Italian better than many of this year’s competitors (and even in past years to be honest).
But not even she, beautiful and also nice, managed to raise the ratings. And the same goes for the nomination moment: at risk of leaving next week will be Simone De Bianchi, Domenico D’Alterio, Rasha Younes and Francesca Carrara.
Benedetta, Domenico, Valentina: the triangle of Big Brother 2025
Could we miss yet another episode of the soap opera starring Benedetta Stocchi, Domenico and his ex-girlfriend Valentina Piscopo? Yes, certainly. It could have been missing but the authors thought it was better to air it at the beginning of the episodefor a good twenty minutes. Summary: Benedetta and Domenico are back to being closer than ever. Or as always actually. Except now they’re no longer hiding. And so Valentina decided to put an end to her story with Domenico for the second time.
The first one he left via Instagram. The second yesterday, giving him back the engagement ring: «I understood that I am not the person for you, that I am not the one who completes you. You made me call you a cuckold, a failed mother, all sorts of things.”. And while Domenico continues not to understand what he has done, Valentina bluntly invites him to wake up. «Benedetta has a crush on you», she tells him. To conclude (once and for all? Maybe!) Simona Ventura said that you can be parents even without being together. But it cannot be ruled out that Valentina will have something to say in the next episode too. Or in the last one, why not.

The most exciting surprise of the evening is for Omer: the competitor with teary eyes retraces his journey from Syria, that necessary escape because “my family counted on me”. When his older brother Mursit enters without him suspecting anything, the hug is one that doesn’t need words: more than a year of separation, a year and two months, seem to have never passed.
Then it was Jonas’ turn to meet mother Grazia: «I am very proud of the path you are taking in the House» she told him before giving him another ten, perhaps fifteen, different compliments. It couldn’t be otherwise.
Also Donatella met her husband Andrea, and it cost her 15,000 euros which were deducted from the prize pool, but not before seeing him dance with Dolce. But then she hugged him, through tears. “You are a couple from times gone by,” said Simona Ventura, showing the video of their love story.

Last night Simona Ventura also had to address “a topic that we hoped we would never have to touch on.” Simone De Bianchi made a heavy slip this week. “If you send me to the suite with Dolce I’ll get her drunk and I’ll even throw in some melatonin” he said laughing and joking in the garden. Dolce is the away guest from Rome Big Brother VIP of Kosovo.
«We were joking», his mother Francesca Carrara defends him, but Simona Ventura becomes an Erinyes: «Certain jokes don’t make anyone laugh, on the contrary they normalize wrong mentalities precisely while legislating on these issues». Ascanio Pacelli also intervenes harshly: “As a man you have made me ashamed.” In the end the apologies arrive, from Simone, from Domenico who encouraged him, even from those who laughed. But Simone is punished anyway: excuses are not enough. And the same goes for Domenico: for the two of them, automatic nomination.
