The US government has filed a complaint against a law in the state of Idaho that prohibits virtually all abortions. It is Washington’s first legal action after the US Supreme Court overturned the landmark Roe v. Wade ruling in late June. At the time, in 1973, the Court ruled that abortion was allowed.
