In the written statement made by General Secretary Uğur Fora, “March is a very important and meaningful month for us Beşiktaş fans. March 3 is the founding anniversary of Beşiktaş, which was born as a neighborhood club and became a world club, and March 19 is World Beşiktaş Fans’ Day.
We will hold a series of events during the two-week period between our founding anniversary on March 3 and World Beşiktaş Day on March 19. As part of the 123rd anniversary celebrations, the first thing we did was to design a very stylish logo. We decorated every corner of our district with our glorious coat of arms and our 123rd anniversary logo.
As part of the anniversary events, we will host disadvantaged children and students studying in schools in Beşiktaş district in the Ziraat Turkish Cup match against Çaykur Rizespor.
We will organize a big ceremony and hold an iftar program on March 3, our anniversary. We will make these meaningful days even more meaningful with our book donation campaign.
As part of our anniversary, we will commemorate our founders and the mother of the Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Zübeyde Hanım, whom he entrusted to Beşiktaş fans on his way to Samsun, at their graves.
