Beşiktaş Fibabanka Men’s Basketball Team beat the Polish representative Trefl Sopot, which it hosted in the 16th week of BKT European Cup Group A, 87-72.
The black-whites, who could not start the match well, were trailing 9-7 after the 5th minute. Beşiktaş took control of the game and widened the gap, finishing the first quarter 27-15. The Polish representative started the second period well and took the lead 38-36 in the 17th minute. Beşiktaş Fibabanka, which showed a superior game in the remaining part of the quarter, entered the halftime ahead 49-39.
Although Trefl Sopot returned from double digits once again in the third quarter, they tied the game 57-57 in the 28th minute, but Beşiktaş finished the period ahead 65-60. The black-white team did not allow their opponent to turn back in the last quarter and won 87-72 on the court.
Beşiktaş got its 9th victory in its 16th match. The Polish team was defeated for the 15th time.
