Outdoor-Sprätter Bergfreunde GmbH has achieved a strong increase in sales in the past financial year. This emerges from a message that the company based in Kirchentellinsfurt published on Thursday. In 2025, the e-commerce specialist, who was taken over a year ago by the French sporting goods dealer Decathlon a year ago, wants to grow in the double digits.

In 2024, sales reached a height of 313 million euros and thus exceeded the level of 2023 by 15 percent. In addition, the company announced “significantly improved profitability”.

“Success factors for record sales were a strong fourth quarter of 2024, loyal existence: inside, double -digit growth in the core market in Germany as well as trusting and successful cooperation with all branded partners,” says a message.

The company is investing in growth initiatives

Co-CEO Matthias Gebhard was extremely satisfied with the recent results: “We are very proud to have now exceeded the 300 million sales brand,” he said in a statement. “This is clear proof of the strength of our teams and our long -term commitment to innovation, quality and sustainability.”

The company wants to continue promoting its growth in the current year. “The focus of the investments is on the technological development, the expansion of the fulfillment infrastructure and further internationalization,” said the online retailer. Co-CEO Ronny Höhn is correspondingly confident. “With these strategic measures, Bergfreunde GmbH is optimistic about the future and expects two -digit growth again for the current financial year,” he said.
