Especially for the TT Festival, the farmer’s rock band normally has a TT version of Loud included. Frontman Bennie Jolink was approached for this by Radio NL, the radio station who has been the name carrier of a stage at the TT Festival with Dutch -speaking artists for many years.

Jolink also opens the TT Festival on that stage on Thursday 26 June, together with Mayor Marco Out.

The lyrics of the song has been rewritten by Alfred Voogd. The song was then recorded in the home studio of Jolink. “It has become a special version that clearly reflects what has happened in the last hundred years. It really has the live experience that is part of this song,” said the normal singer.

There are all kinds of TT references in the song. “The Drenthe capital is the backdrop and they have been doing that for more than a hundred years. Bertus on Seeing Norton and Rossi was after him”, are texts that pass by. There are also references to the big three: Jack Middelburg, wants Hartog and Boet van Dulmen.

According to Radio NL, the collaboration with Normal and the TT Festival is special. For example, normal and the TT Festival this year both their fifty -year anniversary and this year the TT has been in existence for a hundred years. In addition, the radio station itself has been around for twenty years.
