Benedict XVI: the pope who had had enough

Former Pope Benedict XVI passed away this weekend. Ten years ago, he surprised friend and foe by resigning early as leader of the Roman Catholic Church, while a pope normally remains in office until his death. Read here the necrology of Benedict XVI, which Marc Leijendekker wrote.
