Ben Sherman’s mother, Marquee Brands, expands management

Heath Golden have been appointed to the newly created position of Chief Commercial and Strategy Officer at Marquee Brands.

This newly created position aims to optimize and accelerate growth opportunities, Marquee Brands announced on Wednesday. Golden will oversee Fashion Lifestyle, Motherhood and Marquee Brands Connect.

Before joining Marquee Brands, he worked at Randa Apparel & Accessories, most recently as CFO. There he was involved in acquisitions of the Haggar and Tribal brands, as well as a significant stake in Moss Bros. Prior to that, he was President Americas at Australian lingerie supplier Bendon Group. Heath has served on the boards of Baboon, Greats, Hampshire Group, Moss Bros. and Stantt. In addition, Heath is a long-time member of the Board of Governors for the Fashion Scholarship Fund.

The appointment is part of the fashion group’s realignment to “elevate it beyond the traditional concept of marketing and licensing.” These plans were initiated by Neil Fiske, who took over as the company’s first CEO in September 2020.

The US fashion group Marquee Brands was founded in 2014 and operates brands such as Ben Sherman, Bruno Magli and Dakine.
