“An incredible weekend. Very good,” Verstappen said over the on-board radio. “Let’s keep this momentum going.” In the interview afterwards, the Dutchman continued. “I didn’t know that straight forward would be. The speed difference between me and Norris was not very big during the race. We made the difference with the first stint and we were able to maintain that.”

“In addition, it was not easy to manage the tires, but we stayed ahead. I am incredibly proud of everyone after a weekend like this,” continued Verstappen, who is now increasingly returning to the battle for the world title. “Of course there is a chance for the title. We have to put on these kinds of weekends until the end of the season. We will do our utmost, it is very exciting.”
Lando Norris
Norris had to go deep for second place. “It was a nice battle with Charles Leclerc. He drove a good race, that was nice. They were nice battles. I’m happy that I finished second. There wasn’t much more to it today.”
