“Belgium should not become the only target of Russian sanctions”: De Wever sets strict conditions for the use of blocked Russian money

Belgium will not agree to the use of the Russian central bank’s blocked assets for a loan to Ukraine as long as there is no clarity about the legal basis of such a decision. Prime Minister Bart De Wever made this clear on Thursday before the start of a European summit in Brussels.
