Belgium is introducing stricter rules for non-European students: obtaining credits more quickly and making it more difficult to change direction

Non-European students who want to study in Belgium or extend their residence permit will now have to meet stricter conditions. This was reported by Minister of Asylum and Migration Anneleen Van Bossuyt (N-VA). The new rules come into effect on May 31 and are intended to combat abuse.
