More and more Belgians prefer mobile payments over cards, according to research by Edenred Belgium among 2,300 participants. Three in ten prefer to pay via their smartphone; among young people between 18 and 34 years old this rises to one in two. The classic bank card remains a favorite, but loyalty cards, meal vouchers and event tickets are often stored in apps.
